Maize affected by drought

    The effects of drought on maize on an experimental plot, part of the CIMMYT-led Drought Tolerant Maize for Africa (DTMA) project's drought screening program, at the the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute's Kiboko Research Station. Drought tolerant lines will still produce some seed even under the harshest drought conditions, and can be used in further breeding.
