Coca-Cola Relieves Fatigue 5 cents - Schenectady, N.Y. - sprocket hole and layered film

    Newer Older

My first experiment with loading two films into one camera and shooting simultaneously. Coca-Cola advertisement is a ghost sign in Schenectady, N.Y.

    Camera - Holga 120N, prepared.
Upper film - Fuji 200 flipped in "redscale"
Lower film - Fuji 200 photographed properly

This was my first attempt at sprocket hole photography, and my first attempt at redscale, and my first attempt at double-film photography.

Excellent. I like the way that the top half reminds you that the building looked the same when photography looked like that.

Really great idea to put two 35mm films into onto one 120 spool. I've tried to prepate my Diana in darkness but i failed. First i have to practice in licht bevor i try the second run. Do you have any tips form me to reach the goal?

The tough part about putting two films on one spool is that if you use a 120 spool the films will overlap, causing the middle of the roll to be thick. To countermand that, you might want to use a 12-exposure roll of 35mm film.
