Oh, I love this. Is is an old photograph?

    3. chuckp ages ago | reply

It is now! I took it for an article I was doing on a down-and-almost-gentrifying neighborhood in 1977

Sometimes it can take several attempts before an area gentrifies, certainly in the UK anyway - and not necessarily a good thing (:

The detail in this is amazing - the calender, the reflection of the clock, the decoration on the cupboard door. Marvellous.

Now that's a barbershop. I love the beaded walls, the black & white cabinet, the great hanging lamps, and the fabulous pillar and the filagree it supports. And your guy is perfect.
