Remembrance - Hiroshima Peace Park

Today marks the 67th anniversary of the atomic bomb exploding over Hiroshima killing an estimated 70,000 people from the blast and another 70,000 from radiation exposure. The park was a somber reminder of what these weapons can do. You left feeling numb inside. Hopefully something like this will never happen again.

This shot frames the Genbaku dome which was one of the only structures remaining after the blast. Shot taken in mid-June around sunset.
