Stranger Portrait No. 43
It’s the month before christmas, so we got our ourselves the christmas fair in town.
So that means, trying to get christmas gifts before the fast approaching deadline, drinking ‘glühwein’ and of course to delight in the wonderful christmas decoration all around the town. So I went out to get some of the first impressions of this years’ pre-christmas season. Ok, it’s not that cold yet and there wasn’t any snow, but I don’t mind, considering it might get too cold for my camera and me at some point. On that day, I wanted a shot with some nice decorations in the background and someone with a thick scarf or a cap, so you can get the feeling of winter.
Earlier that day, I saw a girl I wanted to take a picture of, but didn’t manage to get near her, since I saw her from too far away, her also heading away from me. But luckily, I saw her (at least I believe it was her…) a good hour later coming towards me, also near a place where I could get my background as wished. So I was a bit nervous, because I really wanted that shot on that location with that person. I was very happy, when she agreed, and really hoped, that the image would be good enough to get published. I think it is, so thank you for letting me photograph you.
