Muslim Woman Reading in the Train

A young Muslim Woman reads the Holy Book of her Tradition while the train leaves Leuven, Belgium.

In this Holy Week before Easter, the Belgian comission in Parliament has voted a law that forbids people to wear clothes that make identifying the face impossible. The famous Burka is such a garment.

My country is the first to tackle this strange clothing behavior, that says so much about the civilisation that stood many hundreds years ago, in the desert... A society where men felt they where the rulers of life and world... It is precisely against this misjudgement, of wealthy men that did not take care of the orphans and widows in their city, that the prophet, himself an orphan, wanted to react in giving his people a deeper sence of religion.
