Welcoming 2010 184/365

    Newer Older

Tonight I ventured into Sydney Harbour, along with 1.5 million others. That meant getting a good vantage point for the fireworks was quite tricky.
I thought I had a good spot for the 9pm fireworks at Circular Quay, but then 2 ferries parked in front of me, but I was fenced in.
For the midnight fireworks, I had made my way to Milsons Point and enjoyed a clear view of the Harbour bridge. Sweet!

Beautiful! I especially like the blue bridge tower as a counterpoint to the fireworks. Happy New Year from Washington, DC!
