Dust and Glory

The main model car in this image is the 'Dust and Glory' 1905 White Steamer. This was number 6 in a range that comprised of 7 historical racing cars. In 1:43rd scale it represents an entrant in that year's Vanderbilt cup race.

The original car was made by the White Sewing Machine company and contemporary photos show it to be a very low car. The number '19' is accurate for the Vanderbilt Cup entry which was driven by Walter White. Unfortunately it was a 'did not finish' (DNF).
