Those we forget in the cold
We're too busy and caught up in our own endeavors and shopping lists to seemingly pay attention to those of us that are unfortunate and living on the streets. This was shot on a 22 degree night in the Flatiron District.
If you haven't figured it out, there's a body under there. It actually was a very cold, tired sleeping person that was shivering half to death. His/her backpack was with them as well.
This photo is to remind us all that no matter how badly we're doing, there is always someone doing worse in this recession.

Update: You know what? This photo actually kind of scares me. The reason why is because over the summer I saw lots of people my age (22) begging on the streets. What if the person under there was my age? What if it was me? Crazy when you think about it.
