I really think this is the future of Micro 4/3. The Panasonic G1 is nice, but it is only a little smaller than an Olympus E420. It is simply too large. When Olympus can build a tiny Leica M8, or a "very much improved" Sigma DP1, then I'm buying it.....

I agree totally Marty. Once it comes out everyone (consumer, enthusiasts, etc) is going to want it and then you'll begin to see Canon and Nikon step their game up and put APS sensors in their prosumer point and shoots.

What I really want to see from this baby is HD video recording--I don't understand how they're going to do it that well on the 4/3rds sensor.

what is this camera called, how much does it cost, and when will be released?

That was the prototype for the Olympus EP-1, Olympus's Micro 4/3rds camera. I have a feeling that it will become their consumer level m4/3rds camera though. Details to come later on that.
