Lisbon Maritime Museum Royal Barge

Originally built in 1780 and crewed by 78 Oarsmen, 1 Coxwain and 1 Bowman. The barge was last used to transport Queen Elizabeth II on the River Tagus during her official visit to Portugal in 1957. Captured using three separate shots stitched together to form this panoramic image. The unknown lady to the extreme right of the picture gives a sense of the scale of this vessel. Best viewed large.
