Just behind the gunpowder mill was this man made waterfall. The sound of the fast flowing water was loud yet relaxing and it drew me too see if i could get a shot. Again i was in the shade with some light just falling on the rows of trees to the left of this picture. I decide to switch to my kit lens for this as i really wanted to capture the movment of the water. so i set up my lens with my strongest ND filter with my circular polarizer on top to darken the sky as the sun was just off to the left.
After walking precariously across some rocks coverd in slippery green moss with a camera in one hand and tripod in the other i set up and took 3 bracketed shots at f/22.
I processed thes in photomatix and was over the moon by the subtle effect that i go and enhanced the milky effect to the water ever so slightly. The rest of my processing was done in gimp didnt have to do much other than lift the image with a curve.
