On an international flight between Canada and the Netherlands Antilles, Air Canada for some reason thinks it's acceptable to charge people for blankets. To be fair there's no point even worrying about that though, as they'll only have 10 on the plane anyway so you couldn't buy one even if you wanted to.
They also tried to charge us for alcohol on this international flight, though getting them to pour it first then suggesting that they must be mistaken when they tried to charge us for it worked okay the first time.
All the stewardesses were miserable and didn't seem to enjoy being there at all. Customer service was non-existent. My experience with their employees suggests that Air Canada must be as terrible to work for as they are to fly with.
