Rubylith

Rubylith is a masking film that has two layers - one clear sheet and one red layer that can be cut and peeled away. This was my first time using rubylith and I like it a lot. It's dificult to cut tiny details with perfect curves, but larger shapes were very easy.

This is a shot of the beginning layer being peeled away.

You mean they still make this stuff! I used it for a long, long time. In the late 1980's I did the cover of Rubberstampmadness® magazine. It was only two colors and I had to cut something like twelve! overlays. They didn't have no camera separations back in those days.
