Mountain Chickadee(Poecile gambeli)

    We don't see this species very often at our elevation(5000 ft), except during winter. They're more often seen in the mountains(imagine that). This image(flickr.com/photos/chickadeetrails/2850013797/) was taken in Brighton, Utah with an elevation of more than 9,000 ft.

      Great eye crispness! Chickadees in general are not as easy to photograph as people think.

      LOVE the picture. First, they don't hold still long and your photo is so clear. Second, the flying food just gives it a neat touch.
