Double Your Pleasure

I have yet to bring a tripod with me while I'm taking photos with my point and shoot. So in order to get any salvagable shots at night, I need to press it up against a hard object and try my best to keep the camera still. I take multiple shots (usually 4-6, half of them at automatic exposure and half of them two stops down), then I sift through them when I get back home. This would account for the 750 shots I took during the two nights, one morning, and one full day I spent in Manhattan. With 250 on that first 3 hour stroll at night through Midtown.

This is one of those shots. I was pressed up against a building trying to get the combination of Grand Central and the Chrysler Building when I noticed the reflection off the black granite. So I panned back over and got this shot.
