St. Boniface - Chicago

So sad to see the building literally falling apart.

After being closed for 19 years, St. Boniface Church might finally be facing demolition. The Archdiocese asked the city for a permit to raze the building, just five years after the loss of the convent and school.

Originally founded in 1862 at Chicago Avenue and Carpenter Street, the Church constructed a new building at 1358 W. Chestnut Street between 1902 and 1904.
