Construction of new Study Rooms
In early 2011, the library redesigned the area that housed our Reference Collection to accomplish a few goals:

1. We took out the under-used Reference books so they could be recataloged and interfiled with our regular circulating collection, to make them easier for patrons to use

2. We built new small study rooms to meet a growing patron need for quiet study space

3. We created new subject collections for popular topics, pulled those out of the regular shelves and put them on special subject tables, to make them easier to locate and use. These subjects are Career Resources, Car Repair, Genealogy, and Maps.

Construction took place in February and March of 2011.
