It is rare that I shoot a waterfall from the top, but after failing to get even a few decent shots from below due to massive spray and falling ice formations intent on bowling over Bill and myself, we decided to climb back out of the canyon and shoot the calmer section of the creek.
I spent some time upstream trying to get a few isolations and swirls, but didn't have much luck. I looked around and noticed that Bill was underneath the footbridge and figured I'd go have a look as well. This vantage point offered a unique view of the creek as it fell over the ledge and shows a few of the remaining ice formations lining the canyon wall . . .
