Finished Farm Set...

Michael's was out of the baskets that I chose originally, so I just took the baskets that held Little Man's clothes and moved them to the children's dresser (I had been planning to do that anyway). I turned the baskets back to front because each one has a bow on it and I thought that it was a bit too fussy for this project. I bought the fairytale postcards in the picture frames from Nova Natural with my birthday money and framed them in these Better Homes and Gardens frames from Walmart.

Orit Horev, Simple Mama, and 38 other people added this photo to their favorites.

I love this! So beautiful and calm.

Any chance we can see what's in the bins?

This is so beautiful! Who made the dollhouse? Also, where did you get those bins? They are nice! I wish I had gotten something like that other than the train table.. I can't stand it.

Sure, Notwonamesalike, I'll take some photos of the inside of the bins:)

Carolenasmommy, we got the dollhouse from Willow Toys (it is Sarah's Dollhouse) and the bins and baskets are from Michaels Craft Store. I save my 50% off coupons and bought them one by one (each is $30 normally, so I paid about $45 for all three). The baskets are usually half price every few weeks or so...

    Thanks everyone!

The farm set is in our front room (we call it our reading room b/c it is a cozy, quiet room away from the hubbub of the rest of the house -- perfect to read in!).

Here a really old picture of the whole room:

The farm set is opposite the futon couch.

Wow does the other side of the room still look like that?...You would never know with the toys it now holds :-)

This is a gorgeous set up and so inviting to play with...I would probably be able to pass a little time playing there lol.

    Hi Autumn Oak!

The room still looks like that for the most part. We now have a bookshelf on the left side of the couch for our nature shelf and wooden vehicles. I will miss this house so much when we have to leave in July!

Lovestiches, I totally play with it when my children are sleeping. I think that my husband thinks that I am crazy!
