      That is probably taken from somewhere around Camusunary at the north end of Loch Scavaig, looking northwards towards Sligachan. You can just make out the pinnacle ridge of Sgurr nan Gillean peeping out behind the ridge on the left, and the faint blunt hill on the right of centre is Marsco. Location would square with your other picture taken just a bit further round on the coastal path towards Loch Coruisk.

      Are these old slide scans, or taken recently?

      Aha that does make sense and I couldn't remember where this photo was taken (although I did think it was more inland.

      These are slides that were shot about a month ago now

      Yes, I see that they're not old now I look through your stream. The blue haze gives them a great vintage quality.
