Water Painting (1999) after Gary Hume

Asked by the Whitechapel Gallery , London, to contribute an artwork for a Benefit Auction in 2001, I wondered what kind of paintings collectors would like? After some thought I decided to make an artwork that would be very, very desirable. I meticulously copied reproductions of two Gary Hume paintings from the catalogue of the extremely popular Whitechapel exhibition in 2000.
