Every time I run on the treadmill I think about doing this shot, so after my run today I gave it a try. There are things I'd like improve, but it's hard shooting yourself while running! :)

Strobist: 1 Alien Bee 320 w/s with softbox @ 1/16 power, 45 degrees camera right. 1 AB 160 w/s @ 1/4 power with 20-degree grid, 90 degrees, camera left. Triggered by PWs and Canon remote. 1/8 sec, f/71.

I've thought about doing this same shot during my running workouts. This is inspiring, I like the motion effect and the lighting is very well done. Expect to see an attempt at this by myself in the Strobist pool in the future.

Don't be surprised if ASICS, a magazine, or stock photo supplier come knocking on your door for a copy. Absolutely fantastic!

wow what a brilliant idea this is. and turned out to be a perfect one to make it in Explore. Not to mention that is a neat Kinsei too. Well done and I am big fan of this shot.

Very well done. Impressive when one remembers you are photographer and model at the same time.

I really like the detail in the legs and shoes and the faint image of movement of the shoes.

I'd say you've pretty much nailed this.

Those are knockout shoes too! That's what I run in.

OK, I thought I was pretty good as an amateur photographer, but when you say you could improve on this it just shows how far I have to go! Fabulous shot, and btw, really nice legs. I don't think anyone would disagree on that!
