Discarded piglet with string attached found outside ON sow operation
On May 10th, Tim Hortons shareholders will gather in Toronto to discuss how the company allows its pork suppliers to confine pigs.
Currently, pigs used to supply pork products to Tim Hortons come from breeding mothers intensively confined to sow stalls (barren metal cages barely larger than the sow herself). It is in these cruel cages that sows spend nearly their entire lives.
