Stilted Reflections

The Black-necked Stilt forages by probing and gleaning in mudflats and weedy shallows for crustaceans and small aquatic animals. Ellis Creek is a series of 3 small seasonal brackish ponds. I stop here on the way home from Bodega Bay; in early evening the light is often very interesting.
