CP-140 Aurora, underside pass

CP-140 Aurora with the weapon bay doors open. This is where the Aurora would house its Mk 46 Mod V torpedoes. The Mk 46 is NATO's standard lightweight air-launched ASW torpedo.

Sonobuoys for submarine detection are launched out of an array of short vertical tubes in the aft part of the aircraft. The round apertures for sonobuoy deployment can be seen on the Aurora's belly, immediately aft of the wing root fairings.
