Sounds of Sacramento - Hearing our History #14

The Discovery Museum table at the History Fair.

On Friday, May 11, 2007, the Center for Sacramento History (formerly the Sacramento Archives & Museum Collection Center) held Sounds of Sacramento: Hearing our History. The open house drew an estimated 800 attendees for a History Fair, exhibits, food, entertainment, and a silent auction. The themed event celebrated the recorded heritage of the Sacramento region, from 1960s garage bands playing rock-n-roll to KFBK radio personality Tony Koester interviewing Sacramento Solons baseball players.
