soul of a rose
Here's another example of my experimenting with my macro lens wide open at f/2. It was a rainy morning that left droplets and graced the flowers with soft light. I found the tight spiral of this newly opening rose irresistible as it both revealed and concealed. No manipulation other than the square crop. (Olympus E-5 & Zuiko 50mm macro, f/2, 1/640 sec., ISO 200, partly cloudy/morning sun, handheld)
