petal of a belladonna lily
Belladonna lily petals are pointed and sweetly curled -- here I went for an impression of the petal shape against the soft pink of the rest of the blossom. These flowers are members of the Amaryllis family. (Zuiko 50m macro, f/2.8, 1/1000 sec., ISO 200, partly cloudy/morning sun, handheld)
My boot drive was failing over the weekend and gave up completely late yesterday. I have a bootable external backup drive, so I'm back for a bit tonight. (Fortunately I lost NO data, thanks to scripted nightly backups.) I will disappear again when my new drive arrives, so you will see less of me than usual this week.
