I spent the afternoon at El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach, a park with a couple of lakes, lots of small wildlife (turtles, birds, rabbits, lizards, dragonflies, etc.) and mostly native trees and flowers. One of the trails has a wooded section that provides some great opportunities to see and photograph backlit leaf structure, and this is an example. (Zuiko 50mm macro, f/8, 1/500 sec., ISO 200, afternoon sun filtered through trees, handheld)
