Just for fun, I decided to look into my archives from one year ago (before I acquired the 50mm macro lens I now use so often). This is a very close look at part of a bird of paradise flower, composed on the diagonal for drama, and seen through the "bargain macro" Zuiko 35mm lens for Olympus E series DSLRs. This was my macro learning lens. ;) (I still have the lens even though I seldom use it anymore. If you have an Olympus DSLR or PEN, contact me by Flickr mail if you are interested in acquiring a lovingly used entry-level macro lens.) (Zuiko 35mm macro, f/8, 1/80 sec., ISO 400, filtered morning sun, handheld)
In the new Flickr, click anywhere in the image to see the large view on black -- or press "L" to "view in light box" (same thing).
