From this morning's outing to the South Coast Botanic Garden, a dewy rose. We had late night and early morning heavy fog today, to the point that I drove to the garden with my headlights on and had low visibility while crossing the two bridges over the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles between me and the garden. When the sun began to break through, dewdrops became little gems on this rose. (Zuiko 50mm macro, f/8, 1/125 sec., ISO 200, mixed light [open shade and morning sun], handheld)
Please come back to my stream tomorrow for my 6th Flickr birthday image -- something special from my whale-watching trip yesterday. It's a blue whale tail capture unlike most you have seen.
In the new Flickr, click anywhere in the image to see the large view on black -- or press "L" to "view in light box" (same thing).
