Mt Evans, Colorado Tornado

    Newer Older

The image was taken at about 2:51pm MDT near Lincoln Lake on the southeast corner of the summit about 1 to 2 miles from the summit. The tornado was very weak and briefly contacted the ground, hence the tornado designation. NWS Boulder is researching to find if this may qualify as the highest documented tornado in the US and world. / All Rights Reserved.
