Franklin Street Mill Tour
I've been shooting more and more film lately, using my Hasselblad as my walk around camera and just trying to burn through rolls so that I can get the "feel" of using it again. Like riding a bike, it comes back to you, but there are little tiny things with it you need to remember and revisit to get the full fell. I do enjoy running around with my light meter taking meter readings before figuring out a shot. It feels like old times.
Back in March we were part of a tour of 150 people who were taken inside the old Franklin Street Mill building. It has been vacant for decades and a local revitalization company wanted to crowd source ideas on what to do with some of the space.
Obviously I started thinking about studio spaces. I left being very jealous of these large empty spaces.
This shot was the main space we were shown. I instantly wanted to have my studio in here. Ah, to dream.
