Wasserlochklamm Palfau, Styria, Austria
You may have guessed it already, but let me just say it. I really liked this waterfall. It was the only one I was able to get up close and personal with, i.e. get down to water level. Oh and the water was very refreshing and I think now, almost two months later, its save to say we didn't catch any bug by drinking it. ;-)
I really wanted to play around with some long exposures with my 10-stop ND filter, but because of a tripod snafu I had to scrap that plan. Well actually it was the camera side that created the problem not so much the tripod (how can a quick release plate become unscrewed, especially from one moment to the other? It was fine an hour or so earlier, but as soon as we arrived at the entrance to the falls I had the plate in my hand and no tools with me). I was just glad the camera stayed put for this exposure and the few others I took of this fall.
