Long Pine Key, Everglades National Park, FL

I couldn't resist and had to upload at least one shot from my day trip to the Everglades. I got up at 4:00 in the morning today to drive to ENP for sunrise. Last time I got stuck at the toll and almost missed sunrise, so I didn't want to take any chance this time. But not hitting any traffic whatsoever I was there one hour before sunrise.

Then dawn and sunrise came and I took about 100 (x3) shots and none look the same. So beware! More shots will follow.

After sunrise I had a yummy breakfast at Denny's (couldn't find IHOP, well, Denny's has pancakes too) and then headed back to the National Park.

I stopped at Anhinga Trail - it's pretty dead there, more tourists (mainly German and Japanese) than gators - and then drove all the way to Flamingo and back and took another 100 (x3) shots.

And then I waited for sunset and probably took another 100 (x3).

That was my Saturday, how was yours?

I guess I'll be busy for the next couple of days. ;-)

Here is the view on black.
