Personal Stories of People Living with Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism
This Flickr® album showcases the personal stories of people living with blood clots, also called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). The Division of Blood Disorders at the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) would like to thank Clot Connect for their help in securing many of these stories. We also thank the individuals who generously shared their experiences and personal stories for this album.

Clot Connect is an information and outreach project of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. Clot Connect's mission is to increase knowledge of blood clots, clotting disorders and anticoagulation by providing education and support resources for patients and health care professionals.
