Nicely shot, Owen. I love the way you captured the Newton's backlight. Make it look so totally tech.

I wish the green of the backlight showed up better, gotta futz with it in photoshop.

Nice ETC board. I've used a board a few models up from that one. What're you running lights for?

MMh.... I didn't think that board was all that common.

I've used, as e3mw said, a model higher than it. Though... because of space, we used a LCD instead of a CRT.

    Oh, and nice newton.

I teach lighting design at a university and design lights as well.

I'm gonna replace the CRT as soon is it kicks the bucket. I try to squeeze the usefullness out of everything.

I've always had a soft spot for ETC consoles: I know you're supposed to come down on one side of the ETC/Strand fence, but there's something for everybody.

The Newton isn't doing something clever with ethernet/DMX, is it? Because that would just be /totally/ geekcool.

The only problem I have had with those lighting boards is that the #pad keys can are a little close to each other and when you are one number off during a performance...
