U.S. Customs and Border Protection Finds Marijuana Hidden in Cement Bags

090512: San Ysidro Port of Entry, San Diego, CA - 67 pounds of marijuana was found hidden in bags of cement by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers. A 19 year old Tijuana resident was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger and was sent to a secondary inspection. A CBP narcotics K9 alerted to the bags of cement and when the officers cut into the bags they found the marijuana, which has a street value of $33,500. The vehicle and drugs were seized and the driver was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, he was booked at the San Diego County Jail.
