So That's How They Do That!

Day 27 of 365 (Year Two)

Week 54, Assignment 1 for Take A Class With Dave and Dave.

Eureka! That amazing moment when you make a discovery or figure out some problem. The legendary story is of Archimedes discovering how to measure the volume of the king's crown as he was getting into his bath. He sees the water rise as he gets in, realizes he's seeing displacement, and shouts Eureka! Show us a moment of revelation.

I found Scott Kelby's first book in this series to be quite helpful in learning the ins and outs of my DSLR. When I saw that he had put out a companion book I had to get it. This one picks up where the other one stopped and has a lot of good stuff in it. A lot of what is in it I've learned on my own or picked up from the blogs I read or other books that I've read, but there was some new stuff that I didn't know and I'm always looking to improve and advance my skills.

You get the thumbs up from Scott Kelby and this isn't even in Explore? Something is wrong with that magic donkey.

Seen in my recent comments. (?)

The thumbs up from Kelby is worth so much more than an explore in my book! LOL

how was the phography book Vol.2? :D

    9. Cayusa 88 months ago | reply

It is real good. It expands on what the first book taught you and has some new stuff in it as well. I found it really helpful. There was some stuff in it that I've picked up along the way since reading the first book, but it was nice to get validation that I've been improving my skills the "right" way.
