My Other Job
Day 333 of 365
Also my submission for week 46, Assignment 1 for Take A Class With Dave and Dave.
The first, and most difficult, assignment is inspired by the Dutch Masters exhibit. I had heard about Rembrandt lighting, and what a Master he was, but I never truly understood it until seeing this exhibit. Rembrandt was unbelievable at using light to highlight the subject of his portraits. Your assignment is to create a portrait using Rembrandt Light. Yes, use a key light and a reflector, and if you can get the triangle of light fantastic, but what I noticed most was the three to four stop difference between the face and the rest of the image. Use a masterful application of light to create a portrait Rembrandt himself might sign his name to.
Both of Savanah's upper front teeth are loose. There is a possibility that they will be out for Christmas. It is a slight chance and I've proven in the past to have absolutely no clue as to how long it takes teeth to fall out. The last time I made an announcement about it they took another 4 months to fall out. Her two fronts are much looser than that though, so we'll see.
Anyway, when her teeth fall out I jump into the nearest phone booth and assume my duties as the tooth fairy. With her fronts being as loose as they are I had to make sure everything was together and ready to go just in case!
