when working with such small pieces, progress is slow. it takes just as long to make each tiny granny square as it takes to make a regular-sized one with worsted wt yarn. for now, the hooking is still fun, especially since i started doing more improv, and so slow is okay.

i'm also gonna slow down on the alternating cross blocks. they seem too busy for such a small area.

I really like the larger blocks in there because it shows up how small the small ones are.

They're so tiny! I agree that fewer two-color blocks is a good choice.

Linda Miller i agree! there'll be more big ones throughout.
Jacey it's looking a little muddy already, right? i might take them apart and re-seam.
