Library Stairs 2
I think the T1i is much more difficult to keep level than the Rebel XT. One of my techniques for getting the angle I want without getting on the ground is to hold the camera level against the front of my body and shoot. In the past, this has given me just the shot I wanted. Ever since I started shooting with the T1i, I have had trouble keeping the horizon straight - even when I am looking through the viewer. I can see that it is straight and line it up with the frame and when I see the picture, it is still not straight. This leads to many more out takes. Clearly my first attempt here is not correct. (Note the sidewalk I'm standing on is going downhill to my left but the stairs have been compensated and are level as far as my eye can see. Oh well, maybe I will figure it out one of these days!
