Jacaranda Shadows

    Prev Next

The sun on a February, 2002, morning casts shadows of jacaranda trees onto a building of the Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico City, Mexico. I would walk by this place often when I lived there, though only rarely early in the morning; I remember how the shadows of the branches on the cream-colored wall seemed magical that day. I love the rich colors, angles of the buildings, and the shapes of the shadows in this shot.
