Italy - Tuscanny: Burnt Sienna

Burnt Sienna is a term used by painters to describe a colour somewhere between orange and red. After visiting the medieval, Tuscan city, it is easy to see where the colour gets its name from.


Wiki: Siena is a city in Tuscany, Italy. The historic centre of Siena has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. It is one of the nation's most visited tourist attractions. Siena is famous for its cuisine, art, museums, medieval cityscape and the Palio, a horse race held twice yearly.
