31/366---Music Is Your Friend
The other night i was at my parents house and i decided to pull out my old bass and snap a few photos to end the first moth of this year long mission. Lets just say my old bass has seen better days, its now not working and the pickups are broke the input is all wack and the amount of drinks that has been spilled on this bass during some super fun shows is what most likely lead to its demise. I played music in a punk band called Volume Republic with (Nico, James and Adam) and we made 2 DIY albums , had about 20 or so songs, and those were good times, i still throw on those cd's every once and awhile. So i thought id tribute my old bass which was a HUGE part of my life before i found photography Music was something that filled that gap of the arts for me, to be able to somehow create in one form or another. Music has always been a massive part of that for me and i know theres a million other people who feel that same way. No matter what music can always evoke so much memory inside you, and when you throw on an album or listen to one of your favorite songs it always makes the day even better.
Here is our old Myspace page with a few of our songs that we had as Volume Republic in case you never heard--- www.myspace.com/volumerepublic
Another side note: My favorite band is Propagandhi
