Four years, four months

of finger-pricking work, and it's finally finished!


Hand pieced, hand quilted, in 100% cotton with a fluffy "minkee" border for extra tactile-y goodness. It measures about 40"x40" in total (crib quilt size), with squares ranging from 1.5" square to 9" square. The pattern is "Jewelled Squares" from Kaffe Fassett's "Glorious Patchwork" (he made it up in reds as an unbacked, unquilted curtain). Quilting was done down the centre of each fabric strip, making concentric squares of quilting for each square (you can see this better on the photo of the back of the quilt).
