Claret & Purple Split Roses cascade Wedding cake
This cake has been the never ending Wedding cake this week! Didn't help I have had flu for 2 weeks, and my carpal tunnel has been playing up terrible too :( learnt a few lessons with this, I didn't factor it would take me 12 hours just to mix the paste for the flowers, I nearly lost the will to live! I couldn't do the flowers the same day as my hands wouldn't work! There was 130 individually bagged gingerbread hearts with claret outline piped on, tying the ribbon was tricky, because after about 50 my hands wouldn't do what my brain wanted them to! Apologies for the crummy photo, cake is dusted in shimmer toor. Flavours vanilla eith Raspberry conserve, chocolate mud with ganache, and orange truffle with orange curd and dark chocolate ganache.
