Naturally we believe the water of the world is shallow, and desperately our feet search for the stable floor. It's only after we drown that we realize our bodies will never be taller than the water of the world, and no amount of growth can change that. The only thing we can hope for is some sort of awakening before water fills are lungs so we might tread water for a fraction of our lives before our limbs tire and we fall like the rest.
