Please read carefully, this is not a joke....

Moynaq, formerly one of the two great fishing ports on the Aral Sea now lays 150km from the new shore of what is still called the Aral Sea. This boat hasn't floated on water since the early 80's due to a massive canalization program that was meant to boost the textile economy of the Soviet Union by increasing the coton production in Uzbekistan. The rest is now history: the Aral Sea has lost 80% of its former superficy and is now mostly just a desert where cows can go graze. Those who think that natural resources are unlimited should come to Moynaq to see the impact of human actions on ecosystems...

This would be just a disaster if the executives of the time hadn't actually been aware that the Sea would eventually dry. Unfortunately, they were, but didn't mind, as the textile economy had to prevail.

"I'd like to share a revelation I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet........
